The 2018 English season was highly successful, with a record number of teams competing in almost every tournament, especially in the medium goal. Next year is shaping up to be no different, with many exciting developments in the mix.
This year, Cortium made a comeback to high goal polo by participating in the Queen’s Cup. Next year, however, the organisation will not only be competing, but also hosting a great event. Their tournament, to be played on Cortium’s world class fields near Haslemere and others within the area, is schduled to kick off in June.
This is not the first time Cortium try their hand at organising an event of this style. “The idea is to put together a world class tournament during the high goal English season, and play on Cortium’s spectacular fields, and some we are renting on this area to make sure everyone plays on top fields, ” shares polo manager Pedro Ferrero. “We don’t want this to be just another tournament, we want patrons and teams to have a great time and come back.”
