Yves Delorme beat Augustinus Baeder by a 9-7 score, and won the Open de France Féminin, following the final that was played on Sunday September 22, at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chanitlly. It is worth to notice that this was their second clash, with the former victorious in the league stage.
Although it was a very even contest, Yves Delorme managed to remain in the lead and managed to earn a four goal advantage in the third chukka. However, Augustinus Baeder never gave up, especially in the last chukka when they almost tied the game. But the damage has already been done, and Yves Delorme claimed the prestigious ladies polo competition.
