The East Coast Open, the highest handicapped tournament in the East Coast excluding the season in Wellington, came to an end this Sunday at Greenwich Polo Club as locals White Birch beat Blackhound DE to claim the title.  The tournament saw five teams up to 20-goals compete.

 

FINAL EAST COAST OPEN: WHITE BIRCH 13-10 BLACKHOUND DE

  • WHITE BIRCH: Chris Brant 0, Pablito Llorente 6 (2 goals), Mariano Aguerre 8 (5), Peke González 6 (6). Total: 20.
  • BLACK HOUND DE: Will Tomita 0, Lucas Diaz Alberdi 6 (1 goal), Torito Ruiz 7 (8), Matias Magrini 7 (1). Total: 20.
  • Score White Birch: 3-1, 4-3, 7-4, 8-7, 11-8, 13-10.
  • MVP: Mariano Aguerre.
  • BPP: Machitos Francisca, played by Mariano Aguerre.
