The VIII Women’s Argentine Open kicked off on Wednesday November 20, at the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters, in Pilar. The whole league stage of the most prestigious ladies polo tournament worldwide will take place in Pilar and the final will be played at Palermo. The contest sees four teams between 27 and 36 goals (ladies handicap), partake.

 

Current title holders, El Overo Z7/UAE, who aim to retain the title they obtained in 2023, claimed an impressive win over Chapa Uno Finca La Rosina 16-6. Up next, four times champions, La Dolfina, defeated La Hache Thai Polo by a heavy 11-5.

 

The VIII Women’s Argentine Open is due to resume on Thursday November 28, and the championship match is scheduled to be played on Saturday December 7, at Palermo (ground 2).
