The USPA Gold Cup, the second leg of The Gauntlet of Polo, the highest rated tournament series hosted by the United Polo Association and the International Polo Club Palm Beach, is set to start on Tuesday, March 1. The tournament sees thirteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete.

 

The final of the USPA Gold Cup will be played on Sunday, March 27.

 

The USPA Gold Cup was established in 1974, and was played at Oak Brook Polo Club, in Oak Brooks, Illinois, before moving to Milwaukee Polo Club, in Hartland, Wisconsin through 1975-1978. In 1979, it landed in Florida, where the tournament was played in several clubs until 2007, when the USPA Gold Cup settled at the International Polo Club Palm Beach. The tournament has been played there ever since.
