Park Place and La Indiana claimed wins in the gamse played on Friday March 11, for the USPA Gold Cup, the second leg of The Gauntlet of Polo, that’s underway at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, in Wellington, Florida.

 

Park Place, with Josh Hyde subbing in for Andrey Borodin beat Tamera (who received one goal on handicap, and Cristian Laprida still fills in for Jejo Taranco) by a 13-10 score, following a very leveled contest that was decided in the last chukka with three consecutive goals produced by the recent winners of the CV Whitney Cup. In the follow-up, La Indiana (received one goal on handicap) claimed a 12-10 win over La Elina. La Indiana’s Lucas Criado Jr. was the top scorer of the day, with ten goals.

 

The USPA Gold Cup sees thirteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete. The final will be played on Sunday, March 27.
