The first tournament of the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, located in the Emirati state, now knows two of its semifinalists. After today’s matches, both UAE and AM secured their spots in the next round after winning both of their matches so far. Additionally, Lamar will have to face a penalty shootout to determine their fate, while El Basha will settle for playing in the subsidiary semifinals.

The first duel featured two teams that had won their opening matches. The winner between UAE and Lamar would gain direct access to the semifinals. The Guerrero brothers’ team had a great first chukker that seemed, if they could replicate it, they would win the match. However, Lukin Monteverde showcased his full potential, tipping the balance in favor of his team. UAE ultimately claimed victory with a score of 8.5 to 6, securing their spot among the top four. Meanwhile, Lamar will have to rely on a penalty shootout to keep their hopes alive.

In the second match, El Basha needed a win to stay in the tournament, while AM would advance to the next round with a victory. The Urquiza brothers had an excellent match, leaving their opponents with no chances from the start. A convincing win for AM with a score of 6.5 to 3 secured their place in the semifinals, where they await their next opponent.
