Polo de Paris, one of the most exclusive and sophisticated places in the world to play polo, have unveiled their 2023 calendar. The glamorous club, also known as Bagatelle, is located in the Bois de Boulogne, on the banks of River Seine, in Paris, France, and is a center of many equestrian sports as well. The polo season in the club set in the City of Lights is due to commence on Saturday May 6, with the Tournois de Printemps Trophée Jean Din Vahn and will run through Saturday May 14. The tournament will see four teams up to 12 goals in participation. As usual, Paris will deliver an attractive season, that will come to an end with the club´s premier tournament the 129th. Open de Paris.  

 

The 2023 season at Polo de Paris is the perfect prelude to what’s coming up in 2024, the Olympic Games, the centenary of those that took place in Paris in 1924, precisely in the Bois de Boulogne; on that occasion, polo brought the first gold olympic medal for Argentina. This year, the Polo de Paris will welcome some of the most renowned players, from Argentina and France. Clemente Zavaleta Jr. will be back on the saddle after a year absence with Sainte Mesme, as well as Sébastien Aguettant, Kazak’s captain, who was not able to play last year due to an injury. Patrick Paillol, Brieuc Rigaux, Clément Delfosse, Pierre-Henri N’Goumou, Robert Strom and Matthieu Delfosse, are among the major French stars who will compete.

 

Following the Tournoi de Printemps, the season in Paris will continue with the  Tournois de la Ville de Paris, that will feature six teams and the 129th. Open de Paris, with four teams in participation. The three compose the Parisian Triple Crown.
