The 22-goal season in Palm Beach is due to start on Wednesday, February 17, with the CV Whitney Cup, a tournament that will see nine teams, split into two brackets, compete. Among them is the first winner of the complete series, Pilot. They claimed the CV Whitney Cup, the USPA Gold Cup and the US Open, back in 2019.
Pilot has been drawn in Bracket II—alongside Coca Cola and Tonkawa. The lineup is composed of the two Pieres brothers, Gonzalito and Facundo; patron Curtis Pilot; and new boy Kristos “Keko” Magrini, the young and talented 2-goaler.
Globalpolo spoke to Pilot’s captain, Facundo Pieres, prior to his CV Whitney debut.
