The semifinals of the Queen’s Cup are due to be played on Wednesday June 14, with two very attractive and open contests, that had no favourites at all. The tournament, established in 1960 and hosted by Guards Polo Club, set in Windsor Great Park, England, sees seventeen teams up to 22 goals, partake, and the final is set to be played on Sunday June 18.

Murus Sanctus and King Power will open fire at 12pm on The Prince’s Ground, to determine the first finalist of the competition. Corinne Ricard’s lineup remain undefeated after winning their five matches, including the quarter final against Twelve Oaks. They will clash against King Power, the 2015 winners, who only lost one league game, and defeated Park Place in quarter finals. Both foursomes are very balanced with a similar system of play.

Later in the afternoon, La Magdeleine, the 2022 runner up will meet 2021 champions, UAE Polo, in a much anticipated clash. The two teams have key players, who had to miss the tournament last year due to the visa issue: La Magdeleine’s Facundo Fernández Llorente and UAE’s Lukin Monteverde. Without doubts, it will be a very close contest, and the opportunity to see the clash of two of the best number 3 of the latest years: Pablo MacDonough and Barto Castagnola.
