Talandracas, White Crane, Marqués de Riscal and Dubai were victorious in the latest games of The Queen’s Cup, the premier competition hosted by Guards Polo Club, set in Windsor Great Park, England. Matches were played through Sunday May 26 and Monday May 27. Dubai and Talandracas still remain undefeated, with their sights on the quarter finals, while Marqués de Riscal recovered from their previous loss against Park Place and White Crane earned their first victory.

 

On Sunday May 26, Talandracas, led by a remarkable Polito Pieres, who produced eleven goals, claimed a tight 13-12 win in extra chukka, over La Magdeleine, last year’s runner up. Up next, White Crane defeated Cibao La Pampa 11-9.  On the following day, Monday May 27, Marqués de Riscal defeated Ferne Park by an impressive 17-10 – thirteen out of Marques de Riscal’s seventeen goals were scored by an exceptional Sapo Caset; last but not leats, Dubai had to work hard to beat Sujan Indian Tigers 12-11.
