The Queen´s Cup, Guards Polo Club’s premier tournament, will kick off on on Tuesday May 21, with triple action. The 2024 edition of one of the most important tournaments in Europe hosted by the club located in Windsor Great Park, will see no less than nineteen teams up to 22 goals, in participation, the highest number of lineups of the last years.

Two La Dolfina foursomes are among the participants – La Dolfina Scone and La Dolfina Great Oaks. Like they did during the season in Palm Beach, Adolfo Cambiaso’s organisation is making their debut in English high goal.

The Queen’s Cup was established in 1960, to honour Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who had been succeeded by her son, His Majesty King Charles III, after her passing, on September 2022. King Charles III claimed The Queen’s Cup in 1986. A few days ago, it was announced that King Charles III has accepted to take on as the President of the club, a position previously held by his father, His Late Royal Highness Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh, who founded the club on January 1955. Prince Philip remained as President until his passing, on April 2021.

The final of the Queen’s Cup is due on Sunday June 16.
