The 53rd. International Polo Tournament Andalucía, hosted by Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande, Spain, have already the first winners, following the finals of the Low Goal Bronze Cup and the Medium Goal Bronze Cup, that were played on Saturday July 27. 1896 Polo and Calatagan – due to play the hight goal Bronze Cup final as well – met up to play the low goal championshp match, on Los Pinos ground four.

 

Following a scoreless first chukka, Calatagan took the lead and dominated the match to earn a two goal advantage at the start of the fifth and last chukka. But 1896 Polo bounced back in an exciting last episode, and it was Kevin Korst who sealed the deal within the last minutes of play to secure his team the first tournament of the 53rd.
