Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is hosting a new edition of the Emirates Polo Championship International, that kicked off on Sunday January 21 and will come to an end on Sunday February 4. The tournaments sees six teams between 10 and 12 goals, in participation. It is worth to note that Bin Drai ran out the champions of the first 12-goal contest, the EMAAR Cup, on January 13.

In the opening day, that took place on January 21, Bin Drai claimed a narrow 7-6 win over AM Polo. In the following day, January 22, Abu Dhabi defeated Lamar Polo 9.5-4, while Ghantoot beat Bhansali 10-6.5.
The Emirates Polo Championship International will resume on Thursday January 25, with the following order of play:
3pm: Abu Dhabi vs. AM Polo
4,30pm: Ghantoot Lamar
