The EMAAR Cup resumed through Friday February 14 and Saturday February 15, with three games played at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Lamar, Noon and AM Polo were victorious thoroghout the two days of play.
The undefeated Lamar and Abu Dhabi clashed on Friday, with the aim to reach a second consecutive win in order to search a spot in semifinals. At the end of the day, Rayyan Al Ajaji’s lineup won 6-4, and are closer to the next phase.
Noon and Bin Drai opened fire on Saturday, with the latter victorious in their first match against El Basha and the latter were making their debut. It was a very leveled contest, but finally luck was on Noon’s side. It was Teo Lacau who converted a 60-yards penalty with seconds to go in regulation time.
Last but not lest, AM and Equiti closed the second matchdate. Both of them were seeking for their first victory. Following a scoreless first chukka, action took off from the second onwards. It was Alya Al Maktoum and her boys who dominated the contest, to claim a 6-3 win.
