Action at the Deauville International Polo Club, in Normandy, France, continues with the 16-goal Coupe d’Or and the 8-goal Coupe de Bronze. The Coupe d’Or was delayed due to heavy rainfall, but the Coupe de Bronze was played as scheduled.
Meanwhile, Friday August 16 saw the traditional teams and players parade, around the beautiful streets of the colorful Deauville.
With regards to polo, the Coupe d’Or resumed on Thursday August 15. Title holders, Barriére-Télédou beat Eternal J by a narrow 8-7 and, on Saturday August 17, Talandracas claimed their second victory against Mungo, by the same score.
