Following the Open de France Barnes, action continued at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly with the Championnat de France. The final was played on Sunday October 6, between defending champions, Sainte Mesme, and Los Dragones. The tournament saw eight teams up to 8 goals, partake.
The championship match was hard fought and very tight; by the end of the fourth and last chukka, they were tied at 7-all, which forced an over time. That was when a penalty accurately converted by Sam Sztarkman in that extra chukka, secured the win and the title for Los Dragones.
