The 59th. Jockey Club Open for the Thai Polo Cup, is set to commence on Tuesday September 10. The competition that preceeds the prestigious Argentine Triple Crown, will take place at the Argentine Association of Polo Heaquarters, in Pilar, and the Jockey Club, in San Isidro, and will see six teams up to 32 goals, partake.

The traditional contest, one of the most significant of the season in Argentina, will feature several players who will compete for the most coveted polo trophy worldwide, as well as patrons such as Rashid Albwardy (Dubai La Natividad), David Paradice (Scone) and Ernesto Gutiérrez (La Ensenada). One of the most renowned American players, Jesse Bray, will be playing for Black Hound.

The opening day will have double matchdate, in Pilar:

2pm: Black Hound vs. La Ensenada

4pm: La Hache vs. La Dolfina Colibrí

The final of the 59th. Jockey Club Open for the Thai Polo Cup will be played on Saturday September 21.
