The Terralpa Silver Cup, the second leg of the 53rd. International Polo Tournament Andalucía, kicked off on Tuesday July 30, with two low goal games and two medium goal games In the meantime, the high goal Silver Cup is due to start on Wednesday July 31 and will be STREAMED LIVE ON POLOLINE TV.

Low goal contests were played in the morning, with the match between La Capilla and IQ Polo. The Charloux family’s team managed to lead the scores from the second chukka onwards until they claimed a 9-7 win. Up next, on ground 1, at Ayala Polo Club, Calatagan clashed against C.H. Kazuki. Although Gregorio Gelosi suffered and injury and had to be replaced, the runner up of the Bronze Cup earned a narrow 5.5-5 victory.

Last but not least, Los Pinos grounds hosted two medium goal games. John Smith, recent runner up of the Bronze Cup, defeated Jolly Roger 11-9. In the second match, the winners of the Bronze Cup, Electric Polo, lost to Nicky Sen’s Amanara 14-8. It’s worth to notice that the youngest of the Chavanne family, Pedro, made his debut with Amanara.

The high goal Silver Cup will commence on Wednesday July 31, with the contest between La Dolfina Dos Lunas and Sainte Mesme. Wednesday will see two other low goal games, as well: 1896 Polo vs. Grupo Mendizabal, and Esos vs. Polo Valley.
