Dubai claimed the first ticket to the semifinals of the 53rd. International Polo Tournament Andalucía, hosted by Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande, Spain, following the two games that were played on Tuesday August 6 on Los Pinos grounds.

In the first contest, played on Los Pinos ground 2, La Dolfina Dos Lunas, with Adolfo Cambiaso’s comeback to Spain after a three-years absence, clashed against Dubai, the recent winners of the British Open. Led by their MVP, Jeta Castagnola, the Emirati lineup earned a 12-8 win and the first ticket to the semifinals of the Silver Cup.

The follow-up was the clash of the French, Kazak and Sainte Mesme; at the end of the day, it was Sébastien Aguettant’s team who were victorious, and will play a sort of a “quarter final” against La Dolfina Dos Lunas, and the winner will get through the semifinals.
