The 53rd. International Polo Tournament Andalucía, hosted by Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande is stepping into the last week of competition. While there’s one only spot remaining for the high goal Silver Cup – the fourth team will emerge following the clash between La Dolfina Dos Lunas and Kazak – the medium goal semis are already set.

Wednesday August 7 saw medium goal action on Los Pinos Ground, with Electric Polo against John Smith, who played a very tight contest. And although it was a match to determine the final standings, both lineups played a hard fought game.

In the last chukka, Electric Polo made a comeback, took the lead, and at the end of the day, they claimed a 10-9 win against Gabriel Aguirre’s team. Therefore, both teams are joining Amanara and Jolly Roger in the next stage of the tournament, but the matchups yet TBC.
