K2 Polo ran out the winners of the Memorial Manuel Prado y Colón de Carvajal Cup following their 9-5.5 win over Ayala at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande. The competition, played through July 1-4, saw five teams, up to 8 goals, compete. Teams enjoyed a Welcome Dinner at Txiringuito Biarritz after the first day of action. League games were played at Santa María Polo Club.
Meanwhile, La Esperanza Dany’s Polo were ran out the winners of the round robin against Isolas and Nairobi.
This season marks a new era for polo in Sotogrande, with Ayala acting as the main host of the action. The club is supported by Minuto Siete, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage Club, and Santa María Polo Club. This season promises to be a memorable one, running through to the end of August, the month when the high goal returns to Sotogrande.
