Following a very close contest, Semper Anticus beat Four Quarters Black by a narrow 7.5-6, and claimed the Apsley Cup, in the final that took place on Sunday July 2, at Cirencester Park Polo Club, England’s oldest club, located in Gloucestershire. The competition, that kicked off on Friday June 16, saw nine teams between 15 and 18 goals, in participation.

 

Clarinda Tija-Dharmadi’s foursome received 1.5 goal on handicap, and hired Alfredo Bigatti, who subbed in for Jeta Castagnola.

 

Rufino Lauhlé was named MVP, and the BPP honors went to Irenita Sostininio, ridden by Alfredo Bigatti.

 

Meanwhile, Emlor won the Subsidiary, after defeating SONA Polo 9-5.
