Following the success of the Copa Bienvenida, the 2021 season in Sotogrande will continue at Ayala Polo Club, with the Copa San Enrique de Guadiaro, which will take place through May 20-23. It is the second competition of a new era for polo in Sotogrande, that sees Ayala as the main host, supported by Minuto Siete, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage Club, and Santa María Polo Club.

This season promises to be a memorable one, running through to the end of August, the month when the high goal returns to Sotogrande.

John Smith, winners of the Copa Bienvenida, and Rhone Hill earned opening wins against Nairobi and Cibao La Pampa, respectively, and for the same score, 7-6. 

The final of the Copa San Enrique de Guadiaro, that sees four teams between 6 and 8 goals, is scheduled on Sunday May 23.
