Emlor Red took a tight 8.5-8 win over Bardon to claim the Royal Windsor Cup, the medium goal tournament hosted by Guards Polo Club, on Sunday, July 12. The tournament is the club’s oldest competition. It was established in 1955, the same year Guards was founded.
This year’s Royal Windsor saw twenty one teams, up to 15 goals, compete. Teams were split into five leagues.
Max Charlton was named MVP, while his mare, Ginie, took BPP honors.
Meanwhile, Green Gates beat Twelve Oaks 8-6 to take the Subsidiary Mountbatten Cup.
