Emlor Red and Bardon qualified to the championship match of the Royal Windsor Cup, the medium goal tournament hosted by Guards Polo Club. The tournament is the club’s oldest competition, having been established in 1955, the same year Guards was founded.
This year’s Royal Windsor sees twenty one teams, up to 15 goals, compete. Teams are split into five leagues.
Following the semifinals, played on Friday July 9, Emlor Red beat Ainsley Saddlety 8-5, while Bardon took an impressive 12 – 6.5 win over Four Quarters.
Meanwhile, Twelve Oaks and Green Gates will fight for the Subsidiary Mountbatten Cup.

INDIAN EMPIRE SHIELD
The Indian Empire Shield is underway at Guards Polo Club. It is one of the most competitive tournament of the club, and the massive trophy has been presented to the winners since the early 20s.
The 2021 edition of the Indian Empire Shield sees eleven teams up to 18 goals, compete.
The last qualifying rounds are expected on Saturday July 10 and Monday July 12, and the quarter finals are due on Wednesday July 14.
