The final of the Barón de Stabrock Cup, second leg of the Iberian Polo Tour, was played at Santa María Polo Club, Los Pinos grounds, in Sotogrande, Spain, on Sunday April 20. The contest saw seven teams up to 8 goals in participation.
Quinto Elemento and La Esperanza clashed in the final, in a very close game that saw a 4-all with only one chukka remaining. Following a hard fought last chukka, Quinto Elemento seized the reins to produce a couple of crucial goals and were victorious 6-5. Therefore, Quinto Elemento claimed the second tournament of the current Iberian Polo Tour – they already won the first, the Memorial José Ignacio Domecq Cup, a couple of weeks ago.
