Another qualification round of the Queen’s Cup came to a close on Sunday, May 29, with respective wins for Great Oaks Les Lions and Scone over Murus Sanctus and Park Place. Guards Polo Club’s most prestigious tournament sees fifteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete for the title.

 

First up, Great Oaks Les Lions – which saw James Beim back in the team – narrowly defeated Murus Sanctus by 10 goals to 8. One of the most anticipated games of the season followed, as Scone took on Park Place. After a long absence, Adolfo Cambiaso was back in the saddle for Scone, and he led his team to a 7-5 victory.
