Zone A’s qualification round for the Julius Baer Gold Cup came to an end on Monday afternoon with victories for Abu Dhabi and Zedan.
Abu Dhabi defeated UAE Polo Team by 7 goals to 6, and Zedan beat Wolves by 9 goals to 8. With these results, Abu Dhabi finished the qualification stage unbeaten and qualified directly to the semifinals. Zedan, who came in second in the zone, and Wolves, will play the quarterfinals against the winners of Zone B’s last qualification matches.
