La Hache has qualified to play the 129th Argentine Polo Open in Palermo, after narrowly beating El Overo Z7 UAE in the match for the Qualification Tournament Copa Remonta y Veterinaria on Monday, October 24, at the AAP Headquarters, in Pilar. The tournament, that gives two teams the chance to compete in the Argentine Open, at Palermo, sees eight teams, up to 30 goals, compete. Teams are split into two leagues.

It was a very close game, with La Hache trailing until the fifth chukka. Their break through came in the sixth, when they tied the game 9-all, and then went on to seal the deal. The result means that Carlos “Toly” Ulloa, son of renowned horse breeder and tamer, Polito Ulloa, brother of Hilario and Salvador, will have the opportunity to play for the Argentine Open for the first time.
