A heavy windy Friday greeted day three of the Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy, that saw wins by Murus Sanctus/La Magdeleine and Thai Polo. Up first, Murus Sanctus/La Magdeleine beat Talandracas 11-7, in the game played at Cowdray Park Polo Club; in the follow-up, played on Black Bears’ grounds, the Thai foursome took a 10-6 win over Schockemohle.
Saturday will mark the much anticipated debut of Scone, the recent winners of the US Open.
The competition, hosted by the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, sees twelve teams, up to 22 goals, play for the title.
The final is scheduled for Saturday, May 29.
