The Prince of Wales Trophy resumed on Saturday at Zacara as Scone came back to defeat Monterosso Vikings by 11 goals to 10 after a goal scored by Nico Pieres in the last minute of the game. The tournament marks the beginning of the high goal season in the UK and is streamed live on Pololine TV. Seven 22 goal teams are competing for the title.
Monterosso’s Fran Elizalde had to be replaced in the fourth chukker after suffering an injury to his right hand. It is yet to be known if he must undergo surgery or not. Cubi Toccalino, who forms part of the Monterosso organisation, took his place on the field.
The finals are scheduled for Wednesday, June 24th.
