Three tournaments are underway at Port Mayaca Polo Club: USPA Butler Handicap, la USPA Heritage Cup and The Woodcock.  The finals will be played on Saturday, February 26, at the club in Florida. Action is due to start at 10:30am. A total of 18 teams are competing in the three tournaments.

 

A successful season is underway at the club, highlighting its steady growth, with full horse barns and with numerous teams playing at all levels.

 

February Tournaments: 

*USPA Butler Handicap (4 teams, 18 goal): Final due on Saturday, February 26.

*USPA Heritage Cup (8 teams, 14 goal): Final due on Saturday, February 26.

*The Woodcock (6 teams, 8 goal): Final due on Saturday, February 26.

 

PORT MAYACA POLO CLUB – LATEST RESULTS:

USPA Butler Handicap (18-goal):

Following a penalty shootout between Old Hickory Bourbon (converted Joaquín Panelo), Beverly Polo (converted Tolito Fernández Ocampo) and Los Machitos, the two former teams secured a spot in the final.

 

USPA Heritage Cup (14 goal):

BTA 8-7 Tonkawa

 

The Woodcock (8-goal):

Woodmere defeated Aliano’s/Horseware 15-10 in the last league match.

As a result, there was a penalty shootout between Woodmere, Aliano’s/Horseware and Parrothead. Woodmere won, securing a place in the final.
