The third day of action of the 2024 High Goal Terralpa Silver Cup, saw the successful debut of one of today’s best players, Poroto Cambiaso, who made a comeback to Spain after three years. Upon his return to Andalucía, Poroto joined MB Polo, alongside Mateen Bolkiah, Pablo MacDonough and Rufino Laulhé. MB Polo clashed against Calatagan, the recent winners of the Bronze Cup, on Friday August 2.

During the first two chukkas, the contest was very close and balanced, but in the third chukka, the match became somewhat flat due to the many fouls. The problem was solved in the fourth episode, when MB bounced back and widened their gap; they dominated the scoreboard and, at the end of the day, they claimed a 12-9 victory, led by the MVP, Poroto Cambiaso.

The High Goal Terralpa Silver Cup will continue on Saturday August 3, with two medium goal games:

5,30pm: Amanara vs. Jolly Roger (Ayala Polo Club, Los Pinos ground 2)

7pm: Electric Polo vs. Brunei (Ayala Polo Club, Los Pinos ground 4)
