Following the culmination of the polo season in England, the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA), unveiled the 15-22 handicap changes, on Tuesday July 30. The most remarkable raise is Poroto Cambiaso, who is the brand new 10-goaler in England. Poroto, who was a runner up in both the Queen’s Cup and the British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup, participated in the season with La Dolfina Great Oaks, being a key piece within Dillon Bacon’s foursome. Therefore, Poroto is now a 10-goaler in Argentina, United States and England.

 

Another raises of significance include Alejandro Muzzio, winner of the Queen’s Cup and runner up of the British Open, with Talandracas, and Benjamín Panelo, both from 7 to 8; James Harper, 7 to 6; Antonio Heguy, winner of the British Open, with Dubai, and Beltrán Laulhé went from 5 to 7.

 

With regards to the lows, Hilario Ulloa went from 10 to 9; Guillermo Caset 9 to 8; Facundo Fernández Llorente, Tomás Fernández Llorente, Matías Torres Zavaleta andy Tomás Beresford 8-7.

 

The changes will become effective on January 1, 2025, however subject to ratification by Stewards.
