After a debriefing with the Federation of International Polo (FIP), the French Polo Federation, the Polo Club de Chantilly, and the Founding clubs/teams, it was agreed that some changes will be made for next year’s event, notably that the final will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022, and a Subsidiary Cup will be held during the tournament.
In terms of the format, the number of teams participating in the event will stay the same: twelve international clubs/teams, will compete (with a maximum of two clubs/teams per country).
Olivier Godallier, President & Co-Founder of GAME Polo, states:
“We are really looking forward to the second edition of the Polo Rider Cup. This new polo club competition was greatly accepted at an international level. We received positive feedback from all the clubs, players, federations, partners, and media, so we are excited to prepare on next year’s edition, making improvements and working to make it even more competitive.”
