The Polo Nations Cup, currently underway at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, in France, is approaching to the semifinals. After another busy day, with three games, there are three lineups still unbeaten, three with one victory each while the rest lost their previous matches.
Illinois-USA and Bavaria Germany opened fire. The Americans lost one game, while the German foursome were unable to end their contest against Paca-France, due to heavy rainfalls. At the end of the day Illinois-USA – Larry Aschebrook 1 goal (0), Elouan Badarello (1), Pedro Harrison 3 goles (5) and Valentín Novillo Astrada 3 goals (6), won by a 8-6.5 score and claimed their first victory.
Up next, Occitane France dominated California USA and took their second victory by an impressive 11-7. Therefore, the French team are closer to the semifinals.
Paca-France and Belgium played the last match of the day, which was crucial in order to search for a spot in the semifinals. After a very closed contest, the deal was decided in the last two chukkas, when the team made up of Augustin Emsens 2 goals (0), Guillermo MacLoughlin (4), Alejo Badano 4 goals (3) and Francisco MacLoughlin 3 goals (4) earned a 10-5 win.
