The semifinalists of the Polo Nations Cup have been revealed on Wednesday June 19, following the last league games and a penalty shootout, that too, place at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, set in La Ferme d’Apremont, in France

Bavaria-Germany and California USA clashed in the day’s opening match; however, and having both lost their previous games, they had no hopes at all to qualify to the next stage. At the end of the day, the German lineup produced plenty of goals to claim a 13.5-8 win.

The follow up saw Lahore Pakistan vs. Italy, with the latter already out of competition. However, they played a good game, but it was Lahora-Pakistan, the team made of Heider Naseem (0), Elena Venot (2), Hilario Ruiz Guiñazu (3) and Tito Ruiz Guiñazu (7) who were victorious 7-6 and got a ticket into semis.

Last but not least, came the French clash, between Occitane-France and Paca France, both with hopes to reach the semifinals. Following a thrilling contest, plenty of goals and good polo, the victory went for the team composed by the Zavaleta brothers, Jules Legoubin and Isabelle Larenaudie, by a 9-6.5 score.
