The 125th Argentine Open resumed on Tuesday at Palermo with two two matches. As in 2017, ten 40-goal teams, divided in two groups, are in competition.
First, La Dolfina Polo Ranch beat La Ensenada in an exciting match on ground two, before titleholders La Dolfina defeated Alegria La Irenita on ground one. The highlight of the second match came when all eight players mounted La Irenita horses in the last chukka in homage to the late Jorge Mac Donough, who passed away this year.
The final is scheduled for Saturday, December 15th.
