Equuleus and Pilot defeated Coca Cola and Postage Stamp Farm, respectively, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open Polo Championship, the culminating event of the season at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, in Wellington.
With sixteen 22-goal team fighting for the title, the tournament is widely considered as the most competitive of the year.
