Black Bears claimed a narrow 12-11 win over Ferne Park to win the Oxfordshire Cup at Black Bears Polo Club, the Schwarzenbach’s family club in Shiplake, England, on Tuesday, May 25.

The final was a hard fought match, decided in extra chukka when Paco O’Dwyer scored the winning goal. Ollie Cudmore was named MVP, and his mare, Ghetto, took BPP honours.

It was a tough result for Ferne Park, who also lost last year’s final to Black Bears. The tournament saw four teams, up to 18 goals, compete.
