Following the last league games, played at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, located in Apremont, France, Rouge Absolu Paris and DS Automobiles are through the final of the Open de France Féminin, the ladies polo tournament that sees six teams, up to 16 goals (ladies handicap), compete. Teams are split into two leagues. Lineups feature some of the most remarkable players in the world – among them, the renowned French sisters, Elena, Pearl and Lucie Venot, current double title holders, having won the competition in 2020 and 2021 with Maison Décalé and Polo Park Zurich, respectively.
It is worth noting that, despite losing to Rouge Absolu Paris, DS Automobile in their last league match, DS Automobile were able to qualify to the final, after previously defeating Maison Décalé and Coliflow, while Rouge Absolu Paris, with the British 10-goaler, Hazel Jackson, is undefeated. So next Sunday’s final will be a rematch.
