On Saturday August 7, Clinova, Mungo and La Fija were victorious on a busy Saturday August 7, in another matchdate of the 24th. Open de France Barnes, the most significant tournament of the country, which is currently underway at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, 30 minutes away from Paris.

 

Tedelou and Clinova clashed in the first contest. Isabelle Lareneudie’s lineup was in top form, after playing the Nations Cup and Deauville, in June and August, respectively. However, they faced a tough contender, like Raja Karim’s Clinova, who led thoroghout the whole match, to earn a 11-8 victory.

 

Up next, it was time for Mungo and Amanara, with the latter having had a remarkable season in Sotogrande (winners of the medium goal Silver and Gold Cups). On their side, Mungo didn’t make it to the finals in Deauville, after falling in penalty shootout. After a tough game, the deal was dealed in extra chukka, when Aiti Garros picked up the ball and ran quickly to the goalposts to secure Mungo the win.

 

La Fija Sandbox and Jolly Roger played the last match of the day. Under the command of the remarkable performance from the young Rufino Bensadon, who produced eight goals, La Fija Sandbox defeated Jolly Roger 13-8.
