The 24th. Open de France Barnes continued on Friday September 13, with triple matchdate, on a crucial day for the most prestigious tournament in France. Two League D games were played simultaneously, while Kazak and Brittany went head-to-head in the sole League A contest.

The two French organisations, Kazak and Brittany, came first. While the winner would advance to quarter rinals, the loser would go to the Subsidiary Trophy. Both teams played a very narrow game until the last chukka, when Kazak managed to widen their advantage to two goals. However, Brittany managed to close the gap within the last seconds. At the end of the day, it was Kazak who were victorious by a 8-7 score.

The follow-up were two simultaneous games – Mungo vs. Clinova, and Amanara vs. Téledou. Raja Karim’s foursome claimed a narrow 9-8 win, while Nicky Sen’s Amanara defeated Télédou.

Therefore, Clinova, Mungo and Amanara went to a penalty shootout to determine two spots in quarter finals. Last but not least, Essso and La Magdeleine will clash for the last place in the next phase.
