Ojo Caliente is going through a spectacular moment in the in the current English polo season. Following their success at the Queen Mother’s Centenary Tournament, at Guards Polo Club, last Sunday, Ana Escobedo’s lineup claimed their second title in three days, after winning the Oxfordshire Cup, hosted by Black Bears Polo Club, set in Henley-on-Thames.
The championship match took place at Les Lions. Great Oaks LL had a 1-0 advantage by the end of the first chukka, but all their hopes were broken by Ojo Caliente from the second chukka onwards. Led by New Zealand’s John-Paul Clarkin and Argentina’s Facundo Sola in the back, and very well supported with the goals by Felix Esain, Ojo Caliente dominated the match, which allowed them to secure the title.
THE FINAL OF THE OXFORDSHIRE CUP WAS STREAMED LIVE ON POLOLINE TV.
