The recent winners of the Oxfordshire Cup, Ojo Caliente, and La Irenita will go head-to-head in the championship match of the Duke of Sutherland Cup, one of the most significant tournaments of the season in England, which commenced on Tuesday May 23, at the historical Cowdray Park Polo Club, set in Midhurst, West Sussex. The competition sees fiffteen teams up to 18 goals, in participation, in lineups composed of some of the biggest representatives of the sport, such as Pablo and Matías MacDonough, Alfredo Bigatti, Sebastián Merlos, Bautista Bayugar, Dillon Bacon, Charlie Hanbury, Mackenzie Weisz, Louis y Ned Hine, Cruz Heguy, John-Paul Clarkin, Facundo Sola, among others.

In their respective semifinals, that were played on Friday June 9, Ojo Caliente claimed a 10-8 win over Talandracas, while La Irenita defeated Emlor Black 12-10. Ojo Caliente and La Irenita will clash for the trophy on Sunday June 11, at 3pm.  

Bel Polo Team y Emlor are due to play for the Subsidiary Trophy.
