Occitanie-France beat Lahore Pakistan 8-6 and won the II Polo Nations Cup, the second edition of the international tournament that took place on Sunday June 23,  at the Club de Polo du Domaine de Chantilly, set in La Ferme d’Apremont, in France. Both teams reached their first final, however it was the second for both Tito Ruiz Guiñazu and Elena Venot,

 

The French lineup, led by a remarkable performance delivered by Simón Zavaleta, overwhelmed their contenders; by the start of the last chukka, Occitanie-France had a three goal advantage. However, the pakistani lineup bounced back and they managed to close the gap to one goal.

 

But the efforts didn’t pay off; in the last minutes of play, Ramiro Zavaleta produced the goal that secured Isabelle Larenaudie’s team their first title in this competition,
