Lahore Polo Club, in the namesake city, in Pakistan, is hosting the 62nd. National Open Polo, for teams up to 14 goals. The tournament will see the same five foursomes who participated of the recent President of Pakistan Polo Cup and Punjab Cup – FG Polo, BN Polo, HN Polo, Olympia/AZB Polo and DS Polo. The only change within lineups is that Santiago Cernadas will sub in for Tito Ruiz Guiñazu in BN Polo.
BN Polo and BN Polo opened fire, with the former victorious 11-10. Up next, DS Polo, the recent winners of the President of Pakistan Polo Cup, beat FG Polo 5-4.
Action will resume on Tuesday March 5, with two games: FG Polo vs. Olympia/AZB, and DS Polo vs. BN Polo. It’s worth to notice that teams are due to play four matches each, and the two first positioned within the standings will clash for the trophy, while those placed third and fourth will go for the Subsidiary.
