The Open du Soleil, one of the most important tournaments of the season at Saint Tropez Polo Club, resumed on Friday with the 18-goal semifinals. Nine teams, split into 10 and 18 goal categories, are in competition.
This is the fifth consecutive year that the club located on the French Riviera hosts 18-goal tournaments. Furthermore, August is a key month for the club, as the town is buzzing with of tourists and key figures of the European jet-set.
First up, Los Nocheros beat La Magdeleine and became the first finalist. Next, Hadoro VAS defeated New Bridge to secure the remaining spot. This means that Nicolás Pieres and Agustín García Grossi will go head to head one again in an 18-goal final in Saint Tropez, just as they did a couple of weeks back in the Cote d’Azur Cup.
Battistoni and Dark Ice will play the 10-goal final.
