Wind Swept defeated Oriflamme 13-10 to claim the Limited Edition 12-Goal Series on Saturday, February 11, at Grand Champions Polo Club, in Wellington Florida. The tournament saw teams, up to 12 goals, compete. The winning lineup included the father-son duo, Agustín Merlos and his son Rufino.

While the game was tied 7-all by half time, Oriflamme overwhelmed Wind Swept in the fourth chukka by outscoring them 3-0. This gave the latter team a 10-7 advantage. But a determined Wind Swept foursome bounced back in the two last chukkas, sxcoring six unanswered goals to secure the win and the title.

Agustín Merlos, the match’s top scorer (7), was named MVP. He received the award from his father, the legendary Héctor “Cacho” Merlos. The BPP blanket was presented to Pony Vicha, ridden by Rufino Merlos.
